FOUNDER, LEAD DESIGNER

As the creative energy and founder behind Like the Dazzling, my start in events is a bit unique from others in this industry. I found my way into this crazy world of events living in various parts of the world whilst working aboard privately owned motor yachts catering to elite clientele. I’ve had the incredible experience of traveling and planning unique events such as New Years parties in St. Barth and birthdays in Greece. After finding my roots on land and working alongside other planners, as well as in catering and venue sales honing my practice, I am pleased to offer my planning and design skills to my own clients in both my current home of Atlanta, Georgia and my hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.

I am a sucker for thoughtfully curated, organic and whimsical details. Free flowing floral, abundant candlelight and personal touches are what my wedding designer dreams are made of.

With a zest for life and belief that there is cause for celebration in everyday, I am happy to spend mine dreaming up new ideas, reading a good book, catching one of my favorite bands in concert or snuggling up with my sweet dog Teeter, husband Joe and our two daughters.

A fan of all things romantic and a big believer in happily ever after, Laura takes great joy in learning people’s love stories and seeing them through on their big day. Being Georgia born and raised, Laura also has an eye for all things southern and sophisticated. She stumbled upon the wedding industry in 2016 when she coordinated and did floral for a friends wedding in Columbus, Ga. Since then, she has been florist for many weddings in the Atlanta area, as well as assisted in coordination and planning. Fate kept pulling Hannah and Laura together and it eventually just made sense to join forces! Laura’s keen attention for detail and effective time management create a strong backbone for planning and coordination and we are proud that she also serves as Like the Dazzling’s in house floral expert.

In Laura’s spare time she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, church and spending quality time with family, friends and her sweet dog Koda.

Kimberly has been an integral part of Like the Dazzling since 2016. As a bright-eyed, aspiring coordinator, she joined the team eager to submerge herself in all the wedding magic that happens behind the scenes. Since saying I Do to Like the Dazzling, Kimberly has not only been a helping hand, she has enhanced the Like the Dazzling experience with her ability to connect with our brides, her problem solving skills and marketing tips she shares from her communications background.

Kimberly's favorite parts of a wedding are bonding with the bride, seeing the bride walk down the aisle, and the PARTY!

When Kimberly is not tying the knot to finalize your wedding details, she is managing accounts at a marketing firm, cooking, and sometimes making flower arrangements as she also dabbles in floral design.
